
It's like every other company. Nothing different.
Communication is the issue. No one responds to emails in a timely manner. Deadlines are not met. Too much hand-holding and not enough collaboration.
I am not paid based on my experience in the industry, the company, or my education level. We do not discuss raises or opportunities for upward mobility on reviews. This leads to an overall lack of motivation.
Create better processes to manage increasing workload by implementing better processes and workflows. Streamline internal communication to make it more efficient and effective. Create a customer-first environment where revenue increase isn't the only thing everyone cares about. Listen to employees.
Allowing for mental health PTO, shorter or more flexible hours, removing unnecessary KPIs that employees are constantly told they're not measuring up to, decreasing the workload or at least changing expectations to scale. Creating a customer-centric environment where revenue isn't the only metric.
Putting people first. They need to take into account that everyone has been working non-stop for the past 2 years in the middle of a global pandemic. Mental health needs to be a priority within the organization allowing for employees to take time off as needed.
