Maxwell was founded in 2015 by homebuyers who were shocked by the complexity and inefficiencies of the mortgage process for borrowers and lending teams alike. We’ve created a platform that has not only streamlined the process and made it more efficient - closing loans 45%+ faster - but has made mortgages more accessible in the process. The company has scaled quickly and I have admired how the leadership team and my teammates have navigated that growth. I don't think even though we're 5X bigger than when I joined that we've lost that human touch and connectivity. The pandemic made us stronger here, ironically.

What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team is approachable and consistently visible. All of them live and breathe the values of the business.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I love the "paid paid PTO" benefit that allows us to get paid during paid-time-off for completely disconnecting from work for at least a week.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The energy and progress of the business is palpable. I think there is, at the same time, always a recognition of me as a person with a real life outside of work.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone shows up to do a good job, to partner, to listen empathetically and to drive towards the best outcome for the business, not for themselves. There is a real sense of ownership at Maxwell.
