The Hollister Group Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Time off policies are flexible and unlimited but well-regulated

Base salary and time off

Review from Sales Dept

Having the opportunity to have benefits available if needed.

Review from Sales Dept

Commission, constant opportunity for bonus

Review from Sales Dept

The benefits are good. Compensation is fair

Review from Sales Dept

I feel I am in a position to earn more and it is up to me to excel, but certainly feel fairly compensated and benefits cover all my health/retirement needs. Approved on those fronts!

Review from Sales Dept

too new to have an opinion.

Review from Sales Dept

Strong commission structure, awarded for hard work

Review from Sales Dept

The ability to control my earning with the commission plan.

The opportunity to earn bonuses

the commission is pretty good but it takes a bit to get it

Review from Sales Dept

Good commission potential for top billers

Review from Sales Dept

The compensation is good and competitive for the industry. We have a strong commission plan that helps folks grow their own business and be paid for the extra effort.

Our compensation is reviewed yearly, and bonuses are based on company performance. It feels like I am seeing my contributions to the company's success.

Ability to earn uncapped income.

Flexible and generous time off policies

it's comparable to other companies.

Review from Operations Dept

Commission, PTO, open work schedule,

Review from Sales Dept

Autonomy to create my own work and vacation schedule based on what best suits my needs and to work from wherever I want to work.

Review from Operations Dept

Health benefits are the best part of my comp package.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

comp structure feels low/unbalanced based on team, base salary low. Tech brings in high billing as the roles pay more, administrative and af roles bill lower. (1 tech placement bringing in $500-1000/wk recruit/coord compared to about $150/wk on average for an administrative role)

Review from Sales Dept

the salary is a bit below market, and the bonus structure needs improvement especially for temps with low bill rates

Review from Sales Dept

I think the competitive rates of my position are much higher. I think my base salary should be higher to retain someone in my position.

Review from Operations Dept

I feel like with the experience I have (and what I do for the team) I should have a higher base salary.

Review from Sales Dept

There is always room for improvement for all employees on a base salary basis but that is usually standard across any job

Review from Sales Dept

I believe that my salary matched what I was originally hired to do. As my role has evolved I do believe my compensation should be changed. I have faith that the conversations will happen eventually to have this reflected but they just haven't happened yet.

Review from Operations Dept

Would like to have annual compensation raises. This should happen once a year.

Review from Sales Dept

I think our employees are brought in at a low base. People in the same roles in other companies with the same experience are brought in a lot higher. I think there needs to be more transparency about what others are making in the same role at other companies and why our pay is different.

Review from Operations Dept

I was initially offered a higher rate, and then was followed up with and offered a lower one. I wouldn't have scoffed at the second number that was sent my way, but it felt like they changed their mind about investing in me.

401K match is very low

Review from Sales Dept

It would be best if we had commuter benefits. It would likely insensitive me more to come into the office to work there.

Review from Sales Dept

Performance is very subjective, based on the manager. Compensation is a difficult subject to address. The responsibility for addressing commission or performance goals falls on the employee rather than the manager.

Review from Sales Dept

Annual or bi-annual salary reviews and/or increases.
