The interview process was extremely thorough

I interviewed with three different people from 3 different divisions, gave you a good idea of what the company was like.

It was considerably long, but I felt like they were investing their time in me as well and so I feel more job security as a result.

I got to have a 1:1 interview with multiple people instead of a panel. Felt more personal and interactive.

A few of the interviews were very casual, which I liked. I was given plenty of chances to ask my questions.

Interacting with the different department leads and hearing about the company's goals

the ability to talk with future coworkers, though it would have been nice if they had felt the ability to be honest about how things really are. Once hired, they were all pretty clear and apologetic that they didn't feel like they could be totally honest

The number of people I met during the interview process and perspectives they had. Knowing a few faces during the first week at the company made the new position a little less intimidating.
