Working at Honeycomb is super rewarding and I haven't looked back since making my decision to join. I am challenged, valued, and constantly learning from some of the best in the industry. This is the first org I have ever worked at where everyone truly believes in the mission of the company.
What are some of the best things about your team?
There are no egos. We all pitch in to get the job done and we honestly have a good time doing it!
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The entire package is on par with other tech companies in the Valley. This is extended to employees outside of the region as we are a remote-first organization.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our leadership team is extremely transparent, especially around decisions that impact the company. For example, they championed putting an employee on our board. This is nearly unheard of in the U.S.
What did you like most about the interview process?
That I was able to meet a scope of people and I could be honest about any apprehensions I was having. I also received really nice notes from team members (even the CEO) sharing excitement about the prospect of me joining the company.
What makes you most happy at work?
My work is engaging and fulfilling. Leadership and even peers publically validate and recognize a job well done. Feedback, even when constructive, is direct and empowering. It makes me so happy that I am growing not only in my role here at Honeycomb but as a professional.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Honeycomb is a super inclusive and supportive community. I always feel comfortable and welcome around my peers. Team meetings are a great way to get to know other employees and there's no awkward small talk. People genuinely care about one another which is critical given the world we live in today.
