What do you like best about the leadership team?
I love that Honeycomb is a female founded company and how much the executive team focuses on diversity!
That they scheduled meetings with me immediately and that I'm getting the chance to meet them and ask questions.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
San Francisco salary, but I'm able to live anywhere in the US!
The transparent base salary is competitive.

hopefully the stock options (fingers crossed). i was hired with a great salary for a non-senior employee. also love the home setup stipend, and expensed phone/internet

Less departmental politics, get a handle on the toxicity of some of the more established sales people.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
How inviting everyone is from the get go and willingness to listen to ideas!
It's truly transparent. I know more about honeycomb at week 1 than I ever did with my previous company.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Less tolerance for undermining others, less helpless middle management, more actual leadership rather than just saying things they think leaders say.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I appreciated getting to talk to a wide range of people in a wide range of roles - and when I got on the inside I learned they take group conversations about whether someone is a good hire seriouslly.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
This is the slowest engineering company I've ever worked for. Knowledge is silod and it feels like 80% of the work can be attributed to 20% of the people across all the orgs. We can't keep relying on those 20% to carry us forever as we grow.
