I can't speak for all positions but in Customer Support, absolutely not. Personally this seems like something you have to learn on your own and be comfortable leaving work at work. You do not need to bring work home unless you want to. I don't personally know any coworkers that struggle with feeling pressured to bring their work home with them. As long as you communicate with your team members, its almost never an issue. If you are ever struggling with your workload, let someone know and everyone is more than willing to help out so that doesn't become a necessity.
Do I work late? No, not really unless there is a big project or launch coming up. But do I think about ideas for new projects and things my team could experiment with before I go to bed? Yes. I like the work I do so I definitely spend time racking my brain for ways to really make an impact and try something crazy outside of 9-5.
Yes but I can't put a value on the flexibility that allows me to work from home or attend appointments in the middle of the day etc. And while its busy here, it's not stressful so I'm far happier working here (even taking work home) than in my old 9-5:30 job!
Absolutely not. Work-life balance is super important to me, so I shut down slack, stay off of emails, and do not even think about work until the next business day.
Some do -- the Sales-related roles typically involve putting in extra time for things like Prospecting and Research, as the day is taken up by setting and running calls.
No, but I take side projects home.
Big time
