Insecurities, self-preservation at the cost of others
Refrain from doing further physical & psychological harm, don't willfully intrude on other's dignities, be leaders not "bosses", learn & actually practice basic human decency
Weak leadership right now. Focus and motivate.
Not only explicitly recognizing our gaps in diversity and operational effectiveness, but DOING something about it and committing to sharing metrics around improvements.

Communicating with the customer service reps better in regards to technical issues we experience while doing our job on how/when/if they expect to be resolved.

Better bonuses and base salaries
Review from Engineering Dept
Yes we all feel under valued now. The only thing that would make us feel better about our compensation is if we got to choose who we worked for, because some people want to work for Disney and others are ok with dealing with ESPN+ because they KNOW sports. I wanted to work with hulu.
Managers deliberately mispronounced my name, intentionally dehumanized me
Deliberately discriminated against & set up to fail, sabotaged, and given an expiration date
Paid below market for my role, no stock or long-term incentives.
Review from Operations Dept
Don't engage in mobbing & bullying.
Don't attempt to speak on your fellow coworker's behalf with the deliberate intention of sabotaging them. Don't lie or be callous. Actually practice inclusivity & understanding. Don't defame the character or reputation of another coworker. Don't belittle, patronize or bully other coworkers.
more open communication would help drastically
Review from Product Dept
My coworkers are the primary reason I want to go to work in the morning. Middle management is horribly under-trained, and people often get promoted to managers when they should be promoted along an IC track. 80% of managers have no skills, or don't have a passion for people management.
Review from Engineering Dept
Hard workers but receive no professional training.
Recognizing your own hypocrisy, lack of morals, ethics, toxic behaviors
Underlying deceit & malicious intent, the illusion of practicing inclusivity while actually being an extremely exclusive workplace environment & for all the wrong reasons. Exclude apathy, ignorance, malice, deceit, every 'ism, mere self-preservation while simultaneously endangering others.
More individual and team empowerment, establish greater trust between teams, more transparency about "the plan" and career potential of individuals.
Review from Engineering Dept
They have very diverse company, but thers not many African Americanor Hispanics executives
Review from Customer Support Dept
A bunch of white dudes from Amazon & Microsoft who came to Hulu continue to hire more white dudes from Amazon & Microsoft.
Review from Engineering Dept
Multiple awkward interviews that took place over the course of over a few years. On-boarding was terrible, company wasn't even ready or prepared.
Listen to all employees, create a psychologically safe environment where employees feel safe to be honest & constructive, dont scapegoat
Too much advertising that gets away in the way of entertainment.
leadership needs to hold each other accountable. for real.
Too many product managers has led to a fragmented strategic roadmap with unclear and competing priorities.
Review from Engineering Dept
Overall clarity on the UI across all platforms to better distinguish content apart from one another in regards to Live Tv content that has required ads, and Hulu content with no ads.
Review from Customer Support Dept
Leadership really is bad and often unclear
