Executive Bio
Mr. Jim Laughlin serves as Southeast Region President for Senior Products at Humana Inc. Mr. Laughlin is responsible for the overall strategic direction and growth of Humana's Medicare business in Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Mr. Laughlin worked with Humana to develop Medicare Advantage HMO products in several southern states, including Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Before that, he served as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of development for HealthSpring of Alabama. Mr. Laughlin's 18 years of managed health care and Medicare experience includes serving as Vice President of specialty companies for the Southeast for United HealthCare and Complete Health and as Chief Executive Officer of WellSpot Medical Clinics. Mr. Laughlin holds a Bachelor's Degree in economics from the University of the South, Sewanee, Tenn.
