Mr. Timothy P. O'Rourke has been the President of Medicare Division for Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin at Humana Inc. since November 20, 2012. Mr. O'Rourke served as the President of New Market Development at Aveta Inc. since October 2011. Mr. O'Rourke joined Aveta in October 2011 with seventeen years of experience in healthcare finance, operations and provider contracting. Before joining Aveta, Mr. O'Rourke served as National Vice President of Provider Contracting for Humana. In that role, Mr. O'Rourke oversaw Humana's nationwide provider engagement programs with 1.4 million members in addition to leading their medical home and ACO development strategy. Prior to that, Mr. O'Rourke served as Regional Vice President, Provider Contracting East Region and then as Vice President, Provider Contracting Northeast Region and as Regional Director of Network Management and Operations at Humana. He also worked in healthcare finance and managed care contracting for Advocate Health Care of Oak Brook, Ill. and Genesis Health System in Davenport, Iowa. Mr. O'Rourke received his Bachelor of Science in Health Administration from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Ill.
