What do you like best about the leadership team?

They express their values strongly.

What did you like most about the interview process?

I got to interact with staff from different levels in the company.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

COVID-19 has been really tough for our company and the market in general.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Promotions are driven by personal relationships with leadership and the calibration process is in the hands of people who may know very little about your capabilities. This results in mediocre middle management.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

The feedback and promotion processes reinforce the idea that employees are never doing enough and that it is not good enough to be good at your job and do everything asked of you.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The performance review process is structured to tell the vast majority of employees that they are mediocre. Compensation ranges are kept secret. "Total Compensation" is targeted at market median, but includes the full bonus amount employees may not receive. "Total Compensation" hides underpayment.
