Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
if i weren't expected to work at a higher level than my job title / pay rate. or if i were actually given the title/pay that aligns to the high level of work i'm doing.
Associates promoted at Huron begin at $87K and they hire associates from outside at a much higher rate. Comparable firms in the same industry pay $15-20K more, some have even left for $40K more.

The performance review process is structured to tell the vast majority of employees that they are mediocre. Compensation ranges are kept secret. "Total Compensation" is targeted at market median, but includes the full bonus amount employees may not receive. "Total Compensation" hides underpayment.

All employees are remote but we are still able to feel connected
Huron has a strong sense of collaboration and support. Everyone is approachable, and we work together seamlessly to tackle challenges. The diversity of expertise within the team brings fresh perspectives, making problem-solving more creative and effective.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Promotions are driven by personal relationships with leadership and the calibration process is in the hands of people who may know very little about your capabilities. This results in mediocre middle management.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
the people and the flexibility of how and where we work
Leadership is highly supportive, encouraging both professional development and personal well-being, which makes for an empowering and motivating work environment. The team-oriented atmosphere and the chance to contribute to meaningful solutions for clients have made my time at Huron rewarding.
Relatively new to the organization and everyone is excited helpful and willing to fill in the blanks about all the amazing things they do

The feedback and promotion processes reinforce the idea that employees are never doing enough and that it is not good enough to be good at your job and do everything asked of you.
