What do you like best about the leadership team?
They listen to employees and they are engaged in making our stations better.
Communitcation is strong throughout team. Strong leadership
I loved being part of the management team and learning from my boss superior. He was very accessible
Transparent locally and always surprised nationally.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
Pay, insurance, and 401k choices.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I'm only paid minimum wage and I've only gotten raises because our state raised the minimum. Any other company in any other business would pay me twice as much per hour, but I've been in radio for over 30 years since I was in high school and I love the industry.

Im the only one in the mid region that can do spanish traffic reports, i was on the management team and got paid the same as most of my coworkers.
i have worked here over 20 years and they pay kids of the street and they get paid double. not right.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We are friends with each other, we listen to each other's ideas and we're supportive of each other.
How kind and accesible they are. They are quick to help pick up work when asked

Collaborative and supportive. Allowed to autonomous but encouraged to collaborate and share successes and stresses.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There is nothing positive. We don't even have paper towels to dry our hands in the bathroom. sometimes we don't have toliet paper either.
Very diverse, respectful disagreement, collaborative, casual.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
If my imediate manager could communicate better amd treat everyone the same. (Not show favoritism or judgement based on age)
What did you like most about the interview process?
The assistant manager at the time was familiar soth my work and sat in my interview

Having a flexible schedule and getting to do fun things like represent the stations at concerts and other events.
Working my own schedule and pace. Respected to do my job effectively.
