There is no real leadership when you work for IHSS. The local union, SEIU, tries but fails to do anything for IHSS workers.

Its really hard to get a hold of anyone on the phone, if I need help with anything or need a question answered. I have waited on hold & then either disconnected or forced to leave a message, & they don’t always call back. You must call repeatedl

Get involved. Contact their workers. Maybe even call back every now and then. A hand to help research any way to help our clients would be nice. We are constantly alone in caring for our clients
