Management (especially executives) should show they truly value staff through both actions and words - not smoke and mirrors.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Communication - informing staff of what's going on - not keeping everything so secret. Truly listening to staff and valuing their needs. Not everyone is the same - a cookie-cutter work environment does not work for some, probably not even most.
