I've had a blast here at InfluxDB. I've had the pleasure of meeting some great people and really do believe in our product.
Working with my team, working from home, and the trust from management that my work is getting done
I would have to say the fact that it's full benefits. Again, taking care of us as if we are family.
I think the company does a great job of inclusion. Outreach club is great at trying to bring us all together.
We actually feel like a team. We talk about life outside of work, work together to hit team goals, and laugh. We move as one
Ultimately it's the company. They've built something that I can't describe with words. I enjoy getting on my computer working, learning, and hearing what else everyone is talking about.
We care about each others success. Always helping each other reach our goals. Half of our team is in England and have never meet in person, it amazes me how close we are.
We are 100% remote, however we have daily zoom meetings. Those meetings are obviously work related, but have the energy of a holiday get together. It's very apparent that our people love what they do!
Personally, I haven't had a chance to talk to 1:1 with all the leadership team. But those I have seem to be very open and honest with what is going on. I think that is Key in such a small company
More money is the easy answer. When cuts were made, that put more work on us who weren't cut. I understand that with the cuts it makes it harder to increase salaries, but I would have been open to more stock options?
What I like most about the leadership is that they truly look at us as family. They understand that we are one and together we can accomplish anything, but it starts with our well being. They generally care about our lives our side of work.
