I came to InfluxData from a very poorly run company, so in some sense everything here is a breath of fresh air. But the longer I'm here I realize that the way we do things isn't typical, which makes me appreciate it here even more. I like being constantly pushed and challenged to do more, better.

Finishing a deliverable and checking it off my list!
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone just gets stuff done. There aren't a ton of politics or mind games. Probably because we're too busy for that petty stuff!
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Influx pays 100% of healthcare costs for basic healthcare plans. The unlimited vacation is great too because new employees don't have to face the uphill accrual battle.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They're very engaged with the day-to-day realities of the company. They're also very transparent with where they want to take the company and how we're doing in achieving those goals.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
People really buy into the company values. It sounds cliche, but it's the truth. As a result, I believe employees are more comfortable to try new things, take risks, fail, and succeed.
