
No bonus but strong base pay I think works better psychologically. Big bonuses create big anxiety.
I'm learning a lot and the other things that could worry me are taken care of, and I trust my manager.
We're a software company that delivers releases multiple times a day. In order to achieve that it takes a level of honesty, empathy and team drive that I have not seen in other companies. Without this, you can't accompish continuous delivery.
The org is pretty flat. There's a sincere effor to create a culture. Everyone is nice despite the rapid pace of work (tough balance to strike). I'm learning a lot, I like the team and I'm happy with compensation. What's not to like?
I don't know if they tried for diversity but they sure have it, and it doesn't feel artificial. Everyone is competent and the skills are diverse. People seem genuinely appreicative of each other. Oh, I'm learning a lot also which is very important to me.
