How's the work life balance at InfoScout?
Perfect!
Actually pretty good, though as with many startups with lots of younger people, there's a big focus on team-building activities and other startup-based behavior.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at InfoScout?
Like many startups with lots of younger people in San Francisco, InfoScout is very fixated on an on-site culture with little provision for remote work except on a discretionary basis. This can be limiting for those who desire more flexible work arrangements.
Limited or arbitrary work-remote policy, with a fixation on onsite culture. This outdated workplace requirement is one a number of companies have put in place, usually to compensate for broken or chaotic practices. They have a great culture overall, but a bit more flexibility would help things for people other than young, unmarried singles.
How common is it to switch departments or teams at InfoScout?
InfoScout doesn’t exist anymore
How's the vacation policy at InfoScout?
It’s very good. 17 days of vacation to start, plus a floating holiday, plus 11 sick days.
What interview questions does InfoScout ask?
Top Employee Response
My interview experience at InfoScout in winter 2016 was fantastic; thorough yet engaging, with just the right blend of practical exercises and whiteboards for brainstorming, not for doing coding exercises. More companies should interview this way!
