90% of the office are cheerfull Koolaid drinkers, the other 10% are jaded but maintain a happy outward appearance. On balance, folks are really (too) nice.
Casual and relaxed in most settings. I agree about the Koolaid drinkers.
It’s a startup vibe. Open workspace, casual dress and speak, on the younger side (most probably younger than 37-40), free coffee and tea, lots of cool call rooms, lots of fun technology asPercy’s, really fancy chairs. It’s a nice environment where you can be yourself.
What's the interview process like at Ibotta?

The standard design dog and pony with a solid undertone of cultural fit. Be nice, don't come off as cocky.
Long and intense. We are looking for top talent and a good culture fit. So the interview process can take weeks.
Pretty good. For engineering there is a tech and cultural fits.

How's the feedback proccess at Ibotta?
Top Employee Response
There is not a strong feedback system for helping employees grow. There are rewards for people that are doing an outstanding job. Feedback about what you can improve on is lacking. Managers have not been taught how to have difficult conversations so they avoid it.
Touted as transparent, but no serious feedback is taken as such. Worse, employees fear retribution for feedback falling outside management's version of the truth.

I fixed a production bug instead of going to a team outing and was yelled at by my manager for not being a team player.
Generally on your time, not company time.

Sales dictates Product, not Consumers. Aka: the tail wags the dog.
