90% of the office are cheerfull Koolaid drinkers, the other 10% are jaded but maintain a happy outward appearance. On balance, folks are really (too) nice.

  • Casual and relaxed in most settings. I agree about the Koolaid drinkers.

  • It’s a startup vibe. Open workspace, casual dress and speak, on the younger side (most probably younger than 37-40), free coffee and tea, lots of cool call rooms, lots of fun technology asPercy’s, really fancy chairs. It’s a nice environment where you can be yourself.

There is not a strong feedback system for helping employees grow. There are rewards for people that are doing an outstanding job. Feedback about what you can improve on is lacking. Managers have not been taught how to have difficult conversations so they avoid it.

  • Touted as transparent, but no serious feedback is taken as such. Worse, employees fear retribution for feedback falling outside management's version of the truth.

Nonexistent. Ibotta has hired a lot of product managers and they either quit or get fired quickly. The work from them has also not impressed. Perhaps Ibotta will start promoting people from Engineering, Analytics, and Marketing into that role.

  • Uninspiring.
