I feel confident in my team and enjoy working with them.
I love the selection of produce.
Manager is lazy leaves her tasks for the rest of the bakery, goes on multiple 10-20 minuit smoke break. Store manager leaves the assistant to do all his task and he will play on his phone in the back alot. Manager wants good quality while being fast and stacking mutliple tasks on 1 person.
They asked availability, age, name and said ok can you start in 2 hours and stay 2-11pm

None, unless full time and then 50 for vision per year, limited dental, and a couple different no high deductible health care plan. Cost ranges from 59 or 79 per week for average healthcare plans with a deductible going as low as 700/yr.
None unless full time and then decent, yet expensive healthcare and dental, with zero vision insurance (though they'll pay $50 toward an exam).
Ingles does have benefits. You have to be employed for one year to receive vacation and sick time. You get one week for year one, two weeks after 3years and 3weeks vacation after 10 years. Ingles does offer dental and vision. Vision is excellent and dental is decent. Health is iffy. These other post must be by a disgruntled employ that had no idea of what they are talking about. I've been with ingles almost 25 years and I love my job.
Does Ingles Markets drug test or do a background check?
Ingles does not drug test unless injured on the job. They do run an extensive background check and any felony old or otherwise will fail you. Even if you're in drug or family court, pending felonies will also fail you.
I don't think they have since covid. But usually a drug test. Background for certain jobs

They're hands-off and don't actually understand how to run individual stores and make blanket rules that can hurt local sales and service.

Depends on the store and the people in charge. If you'r ea 'Yes Man' you'll have no life, but if you have your boundaries, you can manage your work life balance just fine.

That was years ago for me. Usually no more than a couple weeks

Promotions are based I believe on job performance and if you show up for work. Managers are paid well so they never leave lol Raises are given yearly to full time employees

part time employees aren’t allowed to work more than 39 hours a week. 40 is full time. the stores (at least where i work) won’t schedule you more than around 35 if you’re part time
