I work very hard and take my job seriously. When I am at the Imarket I treat it as if I own it. While my coworkers seem to appreciate the quality of my work the main store manager acts like he could care less.

Because I'm the only one working 1-9 every single weekend

to be paid equal pay

Lots of work for little return especially compared to every other store and the annual income of ingles can afford to pay higher, they just wont.

The people and workers are great! Its the management that makes the employees suffer!

They're usually pretty easy to talk to. Sometimes, they're hard to work with, but that's just a fact of life.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Not talking about people behind each other's backs

99% of what co-workers talk about, is how bad management is. They are complaining about their department, something the managers did to them or how terribly they are treated. I was bullied and threatened, but management just laughed off the behavior because they liked those employees.

They all talk horribly about eachother secretly

Stop playing favorites. Everyone needs to be treated the same. Start caring about the employees and stop treating them less than.

Its really easy not even a drug test

It was fine for everyone

My interview was a brief sit down with the manager who had no idea I was scheduled for an interview and was unprepared. He didn't know what questions to ask and eventually hired me for my looks and had me come in to start the next day, but neglected to have me put in the system or process my hiring.

The customers love when I'm there and I make sure they have the best time and day that's my number one priority

Deli food is dry and old, not cooked properly

Management and Ingles HR are ineffective and lazy. The whole company needs to be evaluated when it pertains to their corporate structure.

Predictable, consistent scheduling, add 2 15 min short breaks to an 8 hr shift in addition to only 1 30 min lunch break, have more than a 3 day training period for new cashiers

Again, I don't think you really care James. You average a D rating down the board and nothing changes. Employees want to be recognized and acknowledged for their work. They don't want to be broken down and made to feel worthless, especially when making less than a livable wage.
