Ingles Markets Outlook Employee Reviews

What makes you most happy at work?

Taking care of the customers and being surrounded by happy employees

Making customers happy with our products and service

Review from Sales Dept

My Co'Workers are extremely helpful and friendly.

The people I get to see and the friends I have made

I genuinely do love my job. The customers are so friendly and there are plenty of regulars that are always as excited to see me as I am to see them. The job is fairly easy and my coworkers and I work well together. My only complaint is the management.

Helping customers and knowing ive made a positive impact

Making the customers happy and working as a team.

Getting the job done and trying to make the customers happy before they leave.

Helping others with their work and seeing smiles on their faces and a simple thank you

The people and the environment

Decorating cookie cakes, cupcakes, and cakes. And talking with my coworkers.

when my scanning dept works correctly

It's the fact that I have a job. I am blessed about.

My coworkers and team I work with.

Interacting with customers and mentoring my associates

Review from Operations Dept

the weekly pay and the hours

Review from Sales Dept

Happy customers and fun co-workers

Talking with my department manager and the coworkers around me

Staying busy and getting paid

Positive co-workers and customers mostly

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Better communication, organization Cleanliness quality of service. Changes without informing employees

Review from Marketing Dept

Predictable, consistent scheduling, add 2 15 min short breaks to an 8 hr shift in addition to only 1 30 min lunch break, have more than a 3 day training period for new cashiers

Again, I don't think you really care James. You average a D rating down the board and nothing changes. Employees want to be recognized and acknowledged for their work. They don't want to be broken down and made to feel worthless, especially when making less than a livable wage.

A lot. The treatment is extremely unfair that I am facing at my place of work rught niw with unprofessiinal comments back.

Change the store Manager or send him to some training.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Get new managers. Or just reassign them

Apply any equity to worker pay, check in to endure things touched on in meetings are being done. If workers are producing wuality product, and youd like them to change their methods, retrain. Dont reprimand or belittle. Treat your workers like human beings. Let us keep our raises when pay is raised

Managers dont care! Everyone comes in and does what they wish because they know they have job security since no one wants to work anymore. Half my store just comes in and gets high all day and apparently thats fine.

Review from Sales Dept

The rules keep changing. People are being yelled at unreasonablly. And people keep quitting because of drama that the management keeps starting up

You will be treated based on the boss's personal interpretation of you. Not by the quality of your work. If you are a pretty girl you will be treated well. Or if you are a friend or family member of the boss.

The manager needs to be removed from the store. She treats everyone like trash. She makes fun of us calls us names threatening to us. Has no respect for anyone. Would rather us be dead then to help or care a little bit about us

The customers do not feel appreciated by the company and half of them have voiced their apologies that I have to deal with it all. The prices too high, the staffing isn't conductive, the management has more issue than can be listed in 300 letters. I regret applying.

High prices, poor quality, and dirty stores

The teenagers should be there over a period of time before they are promoted

Review from Customer Success Dept

Scheduling me the full-time hours I need to stay full-time.

Employees are treated poorly. Mistakes happen even bad attitudes sometimes. Doesn't mean any manager of any department should cuss an employee out. Especially the store manager.

The management needs to step up and see the bullying, discrimination, abusive of authority and address it. I believe this will improve the culture.

Review from Customer Support Dept

All we want are managers who appreciate the hard workers who keep the departments running. Stop keeping us from using our holidays and vacation time. Stop taking out your frustrations on our schedules. A manager shouldn't be able to use your schedule against you.

Review from Sales Dept

the bullying by management needs to stop

Review from Customer Support Dept

My manager violates most company policies on a daily basis.

Review from Operations Dept
