What did you like most about the interview process?
The ease of communication between me and the co manager felt as though we were old friends
Never had an interview. Just filled out paperwork and got a call telling me a day to start.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Better inquiry of questions on transportation ability and work ethics .
It was fine for everyone
My interview was a brief sit down with the manager who had no idea I was scheduled for an interview and was unprepared. He didn't know what questions to ask and eventually hired me for my looks and had me come in to start the next day, but neglected to have me put in the system or process my hiring.

Get human resource professionals involved
Allow the department managers to interview the individual. To see if they would be a good fit for the department
Stop assuming that the interviewee is an imbecile. For some it is simply an expediant. Offer to provide compensation comparable to Publix, they're going to eat your lunch.

There basically is no interview process. The store hires anyone who can breathe.
