Ingles Markets Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

Store manager is very nice and comforting when discussing work

Posted a month ago

Easy straight forward and quick

Review from Sales Dept

The interview process only lasted about 10 minutes and was fairly easy.

I got a long with the manager and customer service. It went very well.

I was able to get along with the manager and customer service. It was going well.

Very understanding and easy to speak with the hiring manager

It was very quick and efficent

Someone who is positive about me

Got to the point and let me know what to expect

It was short and to the point

They asked availability, age, name and said ok can you start in 2 hours and stay 2-11pm

very informative, friendly and welcoming

It was fine and easy going

Been able to talk to my store manager and being honest about the questions he asked. He made it easy to communicate with him!

that i was hired on the spot

Just Appreciative to the fact of even being given an opportunity to work for the company

Quick and easy. To the point.

I was hired, but the general manager was injured and I did not get a start date until I cornered one of the other cust svc managers who was not aware that I had been hired

I'm pretty sure they'll hire anyone with a functional brain cell and legs

I was hired on the spot. I was told that I would be taking over the floral managers position, only later to be told there was no floral manager. I was made to feel the managers and the company was very different than it was.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Better inquiry of questions on transportation ability and work ethics .

It was fine for everyone

My interview was a brief sit down with the manager who had no idea I was scheduled for an interview and was unprepared. He didn't know what questions to ask and eventually hired me for my looks and had me come in to start the next day, but neglected to have me put in the system or process my hiring.

Me standing there telling all the new hires to run away while they still can

Get human resource professionals involved

Allow the department managers to interview the individual. To see if they would be a good fit for the department

Stop assuming that the interviewee is an imbecile. For some it is simply an expediant. Offer to provide compensation comparable to Publix, they're going to eat your lunch.

Review from Product Dept

There basically is no interview process. The store hires anyone who can breathe.
