Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I do not feel undervalued by any means. I did not negotiate my salary well enough and ultimately that is on me.

The common sentiment is that unless you're making the company millions, you're considered worthless. This mindset makes it difficult to feel valued for the contributions made, no matter how significant. A fair paycheck, promised benefits like a 401k, and regular acknowledgment would help.

I am making much less than the industry standard coupled with my experience level.

I believe that we are not as competitive as the rest of the marketplace for the industry we are in. I think at least addressing why they choose this level versus other companies and why they feel it is the right decision.

I think that the amount of effort that is put in does not match the base-level compensation of my role. I think an increase of $10k - $15k would be justifiable given the amount of effort that is put into this position.
