They are very good at balancing compensation across the various pieces that make up total comp.

We are actually impacting peoples lives and helping the companies that we work for improve their relations with their company.

It wasn't just about trying to screen out turds, it was about seeing if I would fit well within the organization.

I think the general quality of people is just very high. Everyone is B+ level or above... which is tremendously hard to pull off in my book.

I think they have a thoughtful approach to building a business and care about doing it the right way. We're doing it as a team and everyone on the team is important to the effort.

Management is very thoughtful and intentional about strategy and what they choose to work on. They understand the tradeoffs that exist in the real world and attempt to reconcile those with what they are trying to accomplish.
