ITC Holdings was founded in 2003 and its current CEO is Krista Tanner. Since its inception 23 years ago, ITC Holdings has grown to 850 employees.

Even though we don’t generate electricity or sell it directly to customers, ITC plays an important role in advancing a sustainable energy future. We integrate sustainability into everything we do – from enabling the transmission of new renewable energy sources to reducing our own carbon footprint. By modernizing and strengthening the power grid, we help build an energy system that is reliable today and resilient for generations to come.
At the same time, environmental stewardship guides how we do our work. Through our ISO?14001?based environmental management system, we focus on responsibly managing our impact across workplaces, operations and construction activities. From protecting land and habitats to minimizing waste and emissions, we’re committed to doing our work in a way that respects the environment and the communities we serve.
Our responsibility extends beyond the grid. ITC employees actively give back by volunteering at food banks, cleaning up neighborhoods, supporting STEM education, encouraging literacy and inspiring the next generation to imagine the future of electricity. Community involvement is part of who we are.
