Providing clear steps to achieving goals. They can start with increased support through hiring, training, and promoting teamwork. The current motto is "work harder" however, the team is lean and is working in overdrive to reach unrealistic expectations, heading towards burnout

I love my job! It's just with inflation, my salary isn't reflecting it. It's a bit harder to make ends meet. I also have my college degree so it feels a little underwhelming to have such a low salary. As for the company itself, I wouldn't change anything about IZEA, it feels like home!! (:

Compensation is one of our most significant challenges, Leadership, particularly in sales, lacks a clear understanding of how this works making it difficult for them to effectively guide their teams. Furthermore, there appears to be no opportunities for growth within the company.

The support from upper management throughout the pandemic was non-existent. There was a toxic hustle culture that did not increase employee morale or provide support. While most kept their jobs, there was always fear of losing your job. While it's now improving with a culture mgr. theres a long way.
