Better salary and proper health plan
Though I feel sufficiently paid in comparison to other jobs in the region, this is because the province functions under a monopoly and the owners of JDI virtually control every aspect of the economy. Wage suppression is a real concern. I would be much better paid if I moved to a different location.
My health benefits are not up to snuff compared to many other employers in Atlantic Canada.
I feel that I work together well with my coworkers, but the toxic culture has everybody feeling weary and my coworkers wear their sentiments on their sleeve.
