Maj. Gen. David Ivry has been the President at Boeing Israel of Boeing Co. since September 2, 2003. Maj. Gen. Ivry serves as the Chief Executive Officer at of Ivry Corp. Ltd. Maj. Gen. Ivry has a tremendous amount of professional experience, customer insight, industry knowledge and market expertise. Throughout his distinguished career, he held several senior military and diplomatic related positions. From 1977 to 1982, he commanded the Israeli Air-Force. From 1986 to 1996, Maj. Gen. Ivry served as a Director General of the Israel Ministry of Defense. From 1996 to 1999, he served as the Principal Assistant to the National Security Council at the Israel Prime Minister's office. From 2000 to 2002, Maj. Gen. Ivry served as the Israeli Ambassador to the United States. He has also held a variety of key government and industry positions, including Israel's National Security Advisor and Head of the National Security Council. He served as Israel Defense Forces Deputy Chief of Staff. He was Head of the Inter-Ministerial Steering Committee on Arms Control & Regional Security. Maj. Gen. Ivry was presented with the Legion of Merit by the United States Air Force; the Distinguished Service Order (Military) Award by the Government of Singapore; and the Amitai Distinction Award for Ethical Administration and Conduct in the Service of the State of Israel. He was also honored by the Technion University in Haifa for his unique contribution to Israel's security and economy. Maj. Gen. Ivry earned a B.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering from Technion University, Haifa and is a graduate of the IDF Command & Staff College.
