Executive Bio

Mr. Lawrence Oliver, II has been the Chief Counsel of Investigations of The Boeing Co. since August 9, 2004. Mr. Oliver is a Partner in the Chicago office of Perkins Coie. Mr. Oliver joined Perkins Coie from the U.S. Attorney's office for the Northern District of Illinois. As a Federal Prosecutor, he handled drug and bribery cases - and some things that were a little more unusual. In 2002, he got a conviction against Chicago lawyer Richard Connors for smuggling Cuban cigars into the U.S. The same year, he prosecuted an antiques dealer for selling the skeletal remains of a Native American. More recently, Oliver has served on panels investigating the E2 night club disaster and abuses at the Cook County Jail. He serves as a Trustees at University of Illinois, Chicago.
