How does JLG Industries make decisions around promotions?
Everybody gets the same amount regardless of performance. It is whatever the parent company Oshkosh seems to think is the right percentage. The reality is they barely break 2%
Usually those are reserved for those with a 4 year bachelors degree or above. Personally I feel that entry level supervisors should come from the shop floor. To move on to a higher supervisor position or higher then you should be required to have a degree
How's the vacation policy at JLG Industries?
Vacation time off is earned per pay based on the number of years employed.
It would be nice to have an extra week earned every 5 years of seniority. I’d also like to see positions that are given 8 weeks of paid vacation only given to those that work on site at JLG. Not from home.
What part of JLG Industries's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
The US market is great. The EU market is in the toilet.
