Juniper offers a great work-life balance. Each day I go to work and enjoy what I do. I also know that I can leave each day and enjoy my life. I leave my computer and don't need to think about work until the next day.

How are the healthcare options at Juniper Systems?
Healthcare coverage took a dive this last year. Healthcare used to be one of the biggest benefits here with no premiums, no deductibles, and a low max out of pocket. That has changed. We still do not pay premiums, but we are now on a high deductible plan, and the plan network is limited. The company pays the providers directly and the employees have to reimburse the company for their portion of the cost. It feels like a loss of privacy when it comes to your medical care.

I'm not aware of any standard relocation stipends.

Why work for Juniper Systems?
Where to begin? The culture of success, the people, the location in beautiful Cache Valley, Utah. All are great reasons to work at Juniper Systems. They also believe in taking care of their people, from having an on-site workout facility to having full-paid health insurance. I have not paid an insurance premium in 15 years and yet have great insurance.

The short answer is, I don't know. In the 15 years I have been an employee at Juniper Systems, we have never had a layoff. We do have people leave for other opportunities, or those who have performance issues, but we have never laid anyone off.
