What do you like best about the leadership team?
A couple of the managers were really on the ball at understanding what workers did the best at their jobs.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communicate, stop bullying and belittling the team, listen to the ground level workers ideas as they are the Frontline and understand the challenges better than someone who sits in the office 8 hours a day
Communication between management and the anount of workload dumped on team members
need to be better at Communicating
Being on schedule with things, getting help from a higher office when overwhelmed, rostering etc
everything. they have no intelligence whatsoever
What is the best part about your compensation package?

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Because the workload of 1 is the equivalent to 4 other workers and the level of security is unsafe with the current criminal activity
Mangers contantly talking down on me after two and a half years of working at kmart. I woukd feel better if my work was acknowledged and appreciated
For the amount of work we are expected to do the pay should be higher i think
managers talk down to employees frequently. no one in the store is getting adequate hours

What are some of the best things about your team?
some team members really care Not managers
Some of my team members are nice people and do want change , not everyone is pleasant to work with .
They help each other and are caring
good personalities, hard working, good culture among employees
Everybody is super friendly and always willing to give 100%. They care about the work, even in unfavourable circumstances.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Everyone is fine except one . Never contributes to anything and never helps anyone

My coworkers on my level are fine; the majority of my management team dont respect me clearly and undermine me constantly.
The older ladies at Kmart are miserable people who bullying and harass younger team members.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The way the younger team members look up to me and confide in me. Thats it

New blood , they need new employees with a positive attitude and decent manners
better managers who care about their employees and apprecite their workers and stop overworking them

i liked my interveiwer. however now kmart accepts literally anyone without interveiws and then they wonder why their team is poor

old systems and old people
Leadership is the worst I've seen! Solution: Invest into caring more about your people > They feel valued, work harder due to constant positive encouragement > Better results > New culture encourages better future leaders > even better results. It's so simple.
The bullying and ridicule in the workplace needs to stop.
I think are jobs are undefined. Management uses us in whatever way they want. It could be improved by having certain defined duties
