I just liked my old boss who intervieed me. She asked random wuestions and thats anout it

It was incredibly straightforward and not intimidating. I am an incredibly hard worker but am also timid and I distinctly remember everyone I talked to for my interviews being calm and laid back which helped calm my nerves during the interview process.

It was a fast and easy interview. Getting the interview was very difficult.

They are clear on what days and hours you work

I already knew many of the employees since I had worked in a physician office and we used Labcorp. It was a smooth process.

Initial screening interview was straight forward. Second interview was a little odd, as manager did a sales pitch and left little room to learn about me as a candidate.

Although it did take time for the recruiter to get back to me, she was very nice and friendly

Setting up an interview was actually pretty simple. The interview was easy. However, deceptive tactics, such as lying about benefits and raises are commonly used. Many employees have discussed the same issues amongst each other and with leadership.

It is an easy employer to get into the medical testing field. The interview is incredibly simple and stress-free. You pretty much know you have the job when you apply as a technologist. I can't speak for other interviews, but mine went pretty smooth.

The questions were rooted in the actual position and not situational.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

They could start by being honest about how much you would make, and the hours that you would have to work

If you know there has been problems with the person applying move on to the next one

Recruitment is way too slow, losing good candidates

Takes too long to get jobs posted, interviews granted, background completed, onboarding is haphazard

Streamline the employment process. Too many people give up before getting interviews and hired.

The time frame of getting hired is what was so daunting. It took a solid month, which got pushed out twice just becasue they did not get the paperwork I sent three times, just to start.

Treat interviewees with respect. Respond to emails. Attend the interview. Don't be late for the interview. Do not yell or laugh at the interviewee. Give current employees credit when they recruit a new employee for you, instead of taking credit for yourself

Stop the supervisor from trying to talk potential employees from coming to work for them

It's nonsense period. Believe me, don't get involved with Labcorp, esp with Cytotechnology.

It was 1.5 hours long it was so unneccessary with stupid forced questions from upper mngmnt

In person interviews and having prospective employee shadow before accepting position.

Everything. The process is too long. The management is very quick to do a false representation of the company culture. Just to get a body on the job. Again, high turnover.

You aren't allowed to know anything but what the interviewer tells you about the site you are going to be working, and they will not details or outright lie to you.
