Land O' Lakes Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

My direct leadership is very understanding

Try to relate to the business.

very supportive, listens to employees and fair to all employees

Engagement and communication with employees at all levels.

10 out of 10 score

They are very open in communicating with everyone.

They hear your goals and help find a way to get you on the path to success

They care about the employee and the company.

Collaborative executive team that looks long term

OK, made some bad bets with the previous CEO that we're still paying for.

transparency, team work, seek ideas from employees

They preach safety but it’s all abo

I enjoy working at Land O'Lakes. It's nice to work for and has many locations. You can stay within Land O'Lakes and keep your seniority, but move across the country or around the world.

Review from Operations Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Everything. The facility I am employed at is in dire need of new leadership. We are lucky to have one supervisor that does care and really tries to do things the right way

Leadership, they need to get better at leadership

Some managers are afraid to speak up

Start leading by coaching not firing.

Understanding the business models, the levers and the uncontrollable variables to the businesses

To make our company vision a first priority. It should start by saying employees as first choice.

Review from Operations Dept

You need a new general counsel. Pete was wonderful but the new one needs to be changed.

Empowering their people to make decisions and run the businesses

Floor supervisor is very young and needs to be more assertive and needs more experience before being put in leadership role. Does very well with safety.
