Mr. Thomas E. Tuft, also known as Tom, serves as Vice President of Whitney Museum of American Art Llc. Mr. Tuft has been Chairman of the Global Capital Markets Advisory and Vice Chairman of US Investment Banking at Lazard Ltd. since November 2009. He joined Goldman Sachs & Co. in 1976 as Vice President in Institutional Sales and co-founded its Equity Capital Markets business in 1985. He served as Head of Equity Capital Markets business in 1998 and Chairman of the Global Capital Markets Group at Goldman Sachs & Co. since 2004. For over 25 years, he led a key role in a variety of equity offerings in the U.S. and landmark privatizations worldwide, including solicitation, marketing, management and pricing of domestic and international equity issues. Mr. Tuft serves as Chairman of the Roundabout Theatre Company, Inc. He serves as a Trustee of Whitney Museum of American Art and on the Board of Directors of Boys & Girls Harbor and the Cancer Research Institute. He serves as a Trustee at Wesleyan University.
