The managing directors care more about lining their own pockets than reducing churn of the consulting staff. They would do well to increase compensation to industry standards, implement true opportunities for professional growth, and marginally improve work-life balance.
Compensation is lower than other management consulting firms, especially for those with higher degrees.

Set better hour expectations. It would be better to work a set number of hours every day than have early out once a week.
Managing Directors need to act professionally, especially on the west coast. All levels of consultants need to be given opportunities to grow and interact with clients, rather than hierarchically being relegated to grunt work.

There is a lot of wasted time on work that does not matter. Engagements are understaffed and posturing is too high.
