American CEO, or Americanized CEO, old school Korean culture is not acceptable.

There are so many places where company culture needs changes. A culture of grooming individuals for success and understanding all facets of the job instead of being given a problem and simply told to find soloutions that are always not good enough would be an excellent change.

- Do not think the "LG WAY" is the only way. Acceptable to changes. - Give up your status quo (FSEs, Partleaders, team leaders) - Hire the right people in the right positions. Let some people go! - Give more authority to all exempted employees

Cease promotions, raises, awards based on directors 'favorites' or popularity contests. Have literally only seen HANDFUL of people promoted or given raises due to hard work. People who do good work, do NOT get fair raises or promotions.

Less focus on process, more focus on people. All IT, systems and accounting is managed by HQ Korea. Those systems and processes do not transfer/translate to American culture. All of the systems are so antiquated and cumbersome.

Internal processes need to make better sense. Departments need to more collaborative. Traditional hierarchies need to be reviewed.

We need far less administrative duties that are taking us away from selling and meeting with customers. Our Accounting and Claims process is broken and the unwavering reluctance to make exceptions in the interest of retaining strategic customers is extremely frustrating.
