He served as President of Lincoln Cleveland at Lincoln Electric Holdings Inc from January 2008 to July 30, 2009. He has Marketing, Sales and Operations responsibility for the Lincoln's major domestic operations, including its Euclid and Mentor, Ohio, plants. Mr. Blankenship served as Senior Vice President of Cleveland Operations and Global Engineering at Lincoln Electric Holdings Inc. from November 7, 2005 to January 2008. He served as Vice President of Engineering & Quality Assurance at The Lincoln Electric Company from January 1, 2000 to June 6, 2005. He joined Lincoln in 1985, as an Engineering Trainee and held engineering and product development management positions of increasing responsibility, including Chief R&D Engineer. Mr. Blankenship earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
