It's been exhilarating. It's a small company and everything we do has an effect on the company and our customers. Good or bad. This can be stressful at times, but incredibly rewarding at other times. I've learned to love this.
What makes you most happy at work?
I like being self-sufficient and feeling like I'm making positive contributions to the company.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My teammates are SMART and innovative. They are always working hard to help our customers and are constantly thinking of better, more efficient and effective ways of doing so.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I liked meeting a variety of people I'd be working with. It was also kind of interactive when I was walking them through the product and giving my feedback on it.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is really supportive of each other. We are all unique people with our own lives, but at work we all make sure that we're accommodating of those facts. We all value teamwork and working well with each other.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
We have over 4 weeks of vacation - not including 8 or so paid holidays and 2, week-long "breaks". Our medical premiums are paid for and we have "wellness" dollars granted quarterly that can be spent on pretty much anything.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our leadership team at LP is made up of thoughtful, considerate, and open-minded people. They listen to our (employees) needs and take our requests/concerns seriously. They are understanding of our struggles and failures, as much as they appreciate our strengths and successes.
