loanDepot Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Unlimited time off. And never guilted about using it.

The bps offered to loan officers

The Health insurance is good, not great, but good

Bonus health 40k has inversgmand

The salary and discretionary time off, although they will likely get sued for disparities on allowing managers to use it

ability to "promote yourself" if deserved

There isn't just 1 part I like about it collectively it is an excellent package.

Being paid on closings. Can earn up to 60 bps per loan.

Elite PPO medical was very comprehensive with a low deductible

The skys the limit, the weakest loan officers clear 10k a month. full health coverage/ vision/dental 6% matched 401k, life insurance for me and my son. Tons of PTO and the option to work remote. I love my life.

Benefits and PTO but never any time to take any PTO.

Review from Operations Dept

Medical, dental and 401(k) are comparable with other companies.

The benefits are extraordinary and top of the line.

I'm given the option to choose my plans. It completely customizable, so I can add/remove items.

stable income, room for growth

The pay and bonus are the best part

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

If the commission cap that's supposed to make the rates competitive actually worked and the rates were competitive

Being treated like a living human and not a number would be great.

Pay is ok thats about it

Employees who feel valued will continue doing their best work and beyond. Micromanaged, underpaid, burnt out employees who are made to feel as if their best is a complete failure and disappointment do not. They simply stop trying and give up

The bonus structure for the company is not a good one and could boost employee morale by modification with employee input/suggestions.

Have annual raises or bonuses

Increase the hourly rate. Performance pay is not attainable for the position I perform. Had I known this I would not have accepted the offer of employment.

Review from Operations Dept

Instead of the focus being put into the quality of work that was done, all of the focus is put onto the work that wasn't done. Its very difficult to measure one's true success when they have had a load of 3 - 4 times that of someone in the same line of work at other companies, less duties & more pay

underpaid and overworked, bad pay.

To receive pay comperable to new hires plus value as a long- term employee. There is mimimal inclusion....they say there is but there is no action.

Support staff is not valued as highly as Loan Officers or Leadership. Raises are minimal and tasks are constantly added to the load

Pay bare minimum, very little promotion based off work ethic

Should be about 20% higher to be in line with similar positions elsewhere
