loanDepot Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

My manager is amazing. She makes the job what it is.

The current leadership team is attentive and acts/shows its appreciation for employee contributions. However, it has been too long coming for long-term employees to trust or appreciate the current actions.

Willingness to assist in getting loans closed

full communication, monthly meetings that always keep us up to date

accountability is required by EVERYONE!, he is alway available, I feel valued

Review from Operations Dept

The senior sales management team had substantial mortgage experience and their sales meetings were always well done. Local management was less helpful and the reason many had left the company.

Recruiter and manager were great. Everyone else doesn't reply to important emails and loses your forms of identification. Which is really scary given they have your social security number.

leadership actually cares about your career's trajectory unlike many other mortgage companies. Managers will often help with back end issues and help you with anything you need while you focus on front end work. Managers are very understanding and helpful 10/10

They keep us informed and engaged

My immediate leadership team is an amazing support.

Friendly but not suoer helpful. You are on youe own foe the most part. They kist tel you that you need to sell more but dont give any direction.

The direct manager takes the time to know the employee and assist in growth.

Upbeat, innovative, inclusive, and visionary

Eagered to train and helo you learn.

The leadership team here have all been enterally promoted through our ranks and are veteran loan officers. They are masters of their craft and amazing instructors willing to groom you into whatever role you occupy

They are good to work with.

Most of them were easy to get a hold of and connect with

direction and vision is amazing

My first and 2nd line supervisor have my back. Above that, i have no idea what the goal/vision is for my division. I dont exactly know what my terrirory is outside of the immediate braches that I support.

Amazing encouraging loyal giving reliable

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

How about carrying about the employees, that would be a great start. They make it appear that OT is optional, but the expectation is to work until it's all done and that means OT, and lots of it.

They all lack leadership skills .

Leadership should provide employees with performance reviews and training so people can grow. There is nothing worse than working for a company and not growing your slills. Leaders are responsoble for line level employees and should at least offer them a chance to better themselves ans enhance skil

Consider lower level employees as valued contributors to the money making machine. There are NO perks to most jobs, except just to be glad you have one. Stop telling employees to just quit if we don't like the manipulative rules. Remember that the CEO is not GOD.

Review from Operations Dept

Doing what they say they will do or not do as in sticking with the maximum number of loans in your pipeline so that success is possible and not overloading us so that we will fail to meet expectations on time limits. Not giving last minute loans that must close in impossible time frames.

Review from Operations Dept

Leadership lacks integrity and ethics

Managment doesnt know their ass from a hole in the ground

The executuve team should be more hands on with the feedback in which the fronliners are providing and not just base their success off of numbers. There is a such thing as good employess leave companies for great leadership, and that's a trend that is noticable for those who flock to follow leaders.

caring about teammates and not just cash

Review from Sales Dept

Have some empathy for others especially if theyre over 50 and fell down the stairs.

Review from Sales Dept

This company is a joke...

They say employees are a part of their strength but that only includes certain employees and where the employees live. If you look at most of the activities tney support and sponsor...they are all male interests only.

Only care about numbers. They'll extinguish your career without warning or the slightest regard. CEO buys $61 million dollar personal homes yet lays off the entry level employees to preserve his bottom line.
