Mr. Bruce L. Tanner has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at Lockheed Martin Corporation since September 1, 2007. Mr. Tanner served as Vice President of Finance and Business Operations for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company since April 2006 and was responsible for all business aspects, including Financial Management, Accounting, Estimating, Contracts and Program Finance. Mr. Tanner served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at Lockheed Martin Maritime Systems & Sensors since September 1, 2007. Mr. Tanner was responsible for all aspects of the Lockheed Martin's financial strategies, processes and operations. He has a strong record of achievement, having progressed through a series of increasingly responsible positions in Lockheed Martin Corporation 's finance organization. Mr. Tanner served as Vice President of Finance and Business Operations at Lockheed Martin Corporation from April 2006 to August 2007, where he was responsible for all business aspects of Lockheed Martin Corp. including Financial Management, Accounting, Estimating, Contracts and Program Finance. He also served as Vice President of Finance and Business Operations for Lockheed Martin's Electronic Systems Business Area from May 2002 to March 2006. He began his career in January 1982 and served as its Manager of Finance and Director of Financial Management and also served as Vice President of Business Management from 1997 to 2002. He has been a Director of SunTrust Banks, Inc. since December 17, 2015. Mr. Tanner received a BBA in Finance from the University of Michigan in 1981 and an MBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1990. He completed training at the Lockheed Martin Leadership Skills Institute, Lockheed Martin Advanced Institute and Financial Standards I & II training.
