Leadership cares about employees, and is transparent
Coming in with fresh ideas. Change is hard, and not everyone reacts well to change even if it's positive, but I can see they care about the success of this company

What is the best part about your compensation package?
Got much higher package than expected
Unlimited time off is nice.
They listen to employee feedback, and regularly send out anonymous surveys to see where they can do better. Because they take our advice, they've added new benefits like infertility coverage and adoption assistance.

Pretty lightweight about benefits; seen much better out there.
Lack of autonomie and equity
I was asked to either take a payrise myself or use the budget for my team members on multiple occasions over the last year
Higher equity and pay is needed to be competitive in the current market

The teams are largely collaborative, and try very hard to work together.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Keep reasonable targets. Avoid employee burnout. Be transparent in promotions and avoid favoritism.
Bring back everything they took away from us and make the office a fun place to go to again.

Need to tell interviewees more about the codebase setup and the management structure. I was mislead into thinking I would be on a different team with a different manager
