I was asked to either take a payrise myself or use the budget for my team members on multiple occasions over the last year
Higher equity and pay is needed to be competitive in the current market

Keep reasonable targets. Avoid employee burnout. Be transparent in promotions and avoid favoritism.
Bring back everything they took away from us and make the office a fun place to go to again.

Need to tell interviewees more about the codebase setup and the management structure. I was mislead into thinking I would be on a different team with a different manager
