Likes to talk alot about diversity, equity and inclusion but then only values black and white opinions when there are so many other diverse aspects to consider. Not sure if manager by design only believes in black staff as diverse and that is reason why does not address accountability.
What makes you most happy at work?
Teamwork, fixing and streamlining processes, training folks, ensuring compliance.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Benefits are pretty extensive and cover most health related issues I have come up against.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Getting to know employees and job duties. If concerns are raised then look into them to see if you can validate or refute, assess if training or action is needed, do not ignore issues/problems that surface and just continue to fester.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Team I work most closely with is well trained and always looking for ways to improve and streamline processes to serve students. The other team in our office needs more training. New management members need to learn teams and get up to speed on MATC ways of doing things and learn crafts here.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Cohesive and well trained team that truly values it members. Everyone chips in when needed even if not their specific job duty, we all help out. New Manager of the area needs to start interacting with team though and not taking them for granted. She seems more involved in other team than own.
