More individual communication and mentorship. Very siloed in my position

Very siloed in our positions, which is a management issue.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Management does not take time to appreciate individual work, nor do they understand our work on a day-to-day basis. More one-on-one communication and mentorship would be great.
