Mr. Anthony G. Capuano, Jr., also known as Tony, has been an Executive Vice President and Global Chief Development Officer at Marriott International, Inc. since 2009. Mr. Capuano serves as Senior Vice President of Webster Bank. He served as an Executive Vice President of Lodging Development for Marriott International, Inc. until 2009. He served as Director of Business Development Company of Rhode Island. He began his Marriott career in 1995 as a part of the market planning and feasibility team. Between 1997 and 2005, he led Marriott's full service development efforts in the western United States and Canada. He worked for Laventhol and Horwath's leisure time advisory group in Boston, Mass. He then joined Kenneth Leventhal and its hospitality consulting group in Los Angeles, Calif.He is an active member of Cornell Society of Hotelmen. He holds a bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration from the Cornell University.
