While my time at Matic has just started as a new hire, everyone from the top to bottom of the org chart have made me feel welcomed. Everyone has been open to conversations on getting to know the business, and everyone is willing to lend a hand to get to a collective best result.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Open and transparent communication. Be direct and to-the-point, but do so with kindness.
What makes you most happy at work?
Solving problems within each of the major departments, and making connections between those problems that leads to cascading solutions.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The interviewers were open about the pace and type of work that was needed, as well as the needs of the role that I would be filling.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is both in-person and remote, and the differences of thought, culture, and work-style that it creates make what I believe is a stronger team that is more resilient in our problem solving process.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They have been open and honest in every interaction that we have had so far. Many of them have a direct to the point while being authentic and kind conversation style that resonates well with my own style, so I find it effective and a great way to operate the business.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I find that the stock options are a nice part of the compensation package. The ability to purchase a large share of stock at a reasonable fixed price for a rapidly growing company is a nice perk that is not available everywhere and that will allow me to grow my individual wealth.
